2012 Midsouth Family Camp!January 23
Come join us for our first annual Midsouth Family Camp on May 4 – 6, 2012! It will be a weekend of fun, faith and fellowship on the beautiful grounds of Frontier Camp in the piney woods of east Texas. CHIC Youth Event ComingJanuary 23
What is CHIC? CHIC is the triennial Christian conference for high school students sponsored by the Department of Christian Formation of the Evangelical Covenant Church. CHIC will be held at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from July 15 – 20, 2012. Thousands of students and adults from around North America and abroad will gather for a week of worship, interacting with God’s Word, learning experiences, service, fun, and new friendships.
Who can attend CHIC? High school students completing grades 9 – 12 in the 2011-2012 school year and who are at least 15 years old by 9/1/12.

Register for Generosity SummitJanuary 13
The Midsouth Conference will be hosting the Generous Church Summit on March 2-3, 2012. It will be led by Scott Rideout to help leaders create a culture of generous giving in their churches. The first half of the summit creates the thirst for leaders and churches to become generous.The second half looks more like a strategic planning session in which the participants take the principles they have learned and apply them to their churches. This is a team event! Our desire is for you to bring a team of eight people that include a good mix of staff and lay people. They should be like-minded and have a heart for seeing a generosity of time, talent and treasure become a core value at your church. Your team should be those who can carry out any vision for improvement that God may give you at the event. The cost per church is $299 for up to 8 people. This does not include transportation or housing.
