We look forward to seeing everyone at the 2013 Midsouth Family Reunion (a.k.a. Annual Meeting) this week. We begin with a Pastor’s Gathering on Friday morning, have a dinner and celebration service Friday night, and a business meeting Saturday morning. Family Camp a Success

The 2013 Midsouth Family Camp was held April 5-7, 2013. Reports tell of many opportunities that everyone had to fellowship with their local church groups and develop friendships with other Midsouth church families. We had a large group attending and look forward to seeing even more families next year!

As you prepare to remember and celebrate the history-changing, life-changing events of the Last Supper, Crucifixion and Resurrection, please pray for one another. May the Holy Spirit empower us all to proclaim the Risen Jesus Christ with power, passion and fruitfulness. May God alone receive all the glory for the wonderful things He will do among us this weekend. And because of the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus may we all enjoy the love of friendship and the friendship of love with our families, our churches…and our Midsouth friends.

Covenant Kids Congo Christmas Opportunity

Covenant Kids Congo/Powered by World Vision will be getting a boost this Christmas season. Lincoln Brewster, noted Christian artist and worship pastor at Bayside CovenantChurch in Sacramento, will be donating all the proceeds from his new Christmas album to Covenant Kids Congo. Support for CKC is growing. Be part of this mercy mission movement. The goal is to have every Covenant church have a “Hope Sunday” for CKC by the end of January 2013.
