The Midsouth Conference is a rapidly growing fellowship of local churches committed to serving our communities and reaching our world. We are committed to planting, nourishing and networking healthy missional churches in our five-state region. Many of our churches are multi-ethnic. Several are multi-site. All are multi-generational. About the Midsouth Conference

The Midsouth Conference is a mission field of the Evangelical Covenant Church. We serve the great states of Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Our mission is simple. We partner with the Evangelical Covenant Church to help people follow the Great Commandment and Great Commission of Jesus Christ: to love God with heart, soul, mind and strength; to love our neighbors as ourselves; to go into all the world and make disciples. We accomplish this mission by planting, nourishing and networking healthy missional Covenant churches in our five-state region. In the past decade we have been blessed with a season of harvest, growing from 3,000 people in 2000 to about 30,000 people at the end of 2008. As we actively commit to church planting, we also welcome mission partnerships with existing local churches who sense a kindred spirit with the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Midsouth Covenant Camp

Excitement is already mounting for Midsouth Covenant Camp…August 9-15, 2009. This year’s theme will be Kings and Queens Crazy for God! Again this year our Midsouth Covenant Camp will be held @ Frontier Camp in Grapeland, TX. Camp Director Dale Lusk (aka “Munk”) will be leading a wonderful team of counselors, CILTS and staff for this year’s camp week. Midsouth Covenant Camp serves all the churches of the Midsouth Conference and has been a significant faith-building experience for hundreds of campers for 20 years. Camp Registration packets have already been sent to all Midsouth Conference churches. 2009 Midsouth Annual Meeting Summary

The 2009 Midsouth Conference Annual Meeting was held at CrossRoads Covenant Church in DeSoto, TX, as pastors, delegates from Midsouth churches, special guests and friends enjoyed two wonderful days “In It Together.” Pastor Josef and Rochelle Rasheed and their Crossroads team provided 5-star hospitality for the entire weekend.
