The retreat gives pastors and church leaders an opportunity to recharge, fellowship, and grow in leadership. The next retreat is scheduled to be on Sept. 24-26, 2024 at the Montserrat Retreat Center in Lake Dallas, TX. All Midsouth pastors, spouses and staff are invited to this retreat. We’ll begin with dinner on Tuesday and conclude with lunch on Thursday. In Mark 6:31 we read that there were so many people coming and going that the disciples of Jesus (maybe like Midsouth pastors?) did not even have a chance to eat, so Jesus said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” That invitation was for them then…and for us now. Good rest, nourishment, friendship, a change of scenery and a change of pace are all on the horizon at our Midsouth Pastors Retreat.
